1. Introduction

At B2B Webshop we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains which personal data we collect, how we use this information and how we protect your privacy.

2. What personal data do we collect?

We collect the following personal data:

Automatically collected data

When you visit our website, we automatically collect certain information, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed and times of visit. This information is used to secure and optimise our website and to gain insight into how our website is used.

Anonymous statistics per page section

To see which sections of a page are read and which buttons work, we measure without cookies how long each section of a page is on screen and which links and buttons are clicked. We only store: the page, the type of device (mobile, tablet or desktop), the sections that were on screen for at least one second, and the clicks (the destination without query parameters and the text of the link or button). We do not store IP addresses, browser data or cookies, do not use any identifier to recognise you and never read what you enter in a form. We only keep the time by the hour. We delete the individual measurements after 7 days; after that we only keep daily totals. We never link this data to an enquiry, contact person or our CRM.

Information you provide voluntarily

When you create an account, place an order, contact us or sign up for our newsletter, we may ask you to provide personal data, such as your name, email address, telephone number, company name and billing and delivery address.

Forms on this website

  • Contact form: your name, company name, email address and message, and your telephone number if you enter it. We use this data to answer and follow up on your question.
  • Demo shop request: your name, company name and email address, and the web address of your current website or webshop or the sample shop you would like to view. We use this data to set up the demo shop for you, send you the link and follow up on your request.

We record your request via one of these forms in our customer relationship management system (CRM), so that we can help you properly and contact you about your question or demo shop.

For each form we also store your IP address and the time of submission, to detect and prevent misuse and spam.

3. Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies and other tracking technologies to improve your experience on our website and to gain insight into how our website is used.

Your consent

We only place cookies and similar technologies for statistics (Google Analytics and session recordings), advertising (Google Ads) and marketing (ProspectPro and Leadinfo) after you have given your consent in the cookie notice. Without consent, these services are not loaded. We also only load Google Tag Manager if you give consent for at least one of these categories; what is loaded via Google Tag Manager follows your choice per category. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the ‘Cookie settings’ link at the bottom of every page. We store your choice in a necessary cookie on your device.

The following services are used:

Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager from Google Ireland Ltd. to manage the measurement and marketing services on our website. Google Tag Manager does not place any cookies itself and does not store personal data, but when it loads, Google does process technical data such as your IP address. Google Tag Manager is only loaded if you give consent for statistics, advertising or marketing. For more information, visit: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to analyse the use of our website and to generate reports on activity on the website, such as the number of visitors, the pages they visited and the time they spend on the website. Google Analytics is only loaded if you give consent for statistics. For more information about Google Analytics and how to opt out, visit: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Session recordings

If you give consent for statistics, we may record your visit as a session recording: a reconstruction of what happens on your screen, such as scrolling, mouse movements and clicks. This shows us where visitors get stuck. With the recording we also store: where your visit came from (only as a category, such as Google, LinkedIn, email or an advertisement), the country (which Cloudflare derives from your IP address), your browser and operating system, the size of your browser window, the number of clicks and how far you scrolled on each page. We do not store your IP address or the full address of the page you came from. We do not record what you type in a field, we fully mask forms in the recording, and we remove query parameters from web addresses (such as email addresses or campaign codes). A recording lasts no longer than 30 minutes. Only B2Bshop administrators can view recordings, including while the visit is still in progress. We keep a recording for no longer than 30 days and never link it to an enquiry, contact person or our CRM. If you withdraw your consent via ‘Cookie settings’, the recording stops and we immediately delete the recording of that visit.

Google Ads

We use Google Ads to show targeted advertisements to users who have shown interest in our products or services, and to measure which advertisements lead to an enquiry. Google Ads is only loaded if you give consent for advertising. For more information about Google Ads and how to opt out, visit: https://www.google.com/settings/ads.

ProspectPro

We use ProspectPro from Bedrijfsdata.nl B.V. to recognise which companies visit our website, so that we can tailor our sales and marketing accordingly. ProspectPro determines the company name and associated company details based on the IP address of your visit; the IP address itself is not visible to us. To recognise your visits, ProspectPro stores a unique identifier in your browser’s local storage (localStorage). ProspectPro is only loaded if you give consent for marketing. For more information, visit: https://www.prospectpro.nl/privacybeleid/.

Leadinfo

We also use Leadinfo from Leadinfo B.V., based in Rotterdam, to recognise which companies visit our website, so that we can tailor our sales and marketing accordingly. Based on the IP address of your visit, Leadinfo determines which company is visiting the website and shows us publicly available company details, such as the company name and address. In addition, Leadinfo places two of its own cookies on our website, so that we can see which pages are visited and whether it is a returning visit. Leadinfo is only loaded if you give consent for marketing. You can also opt out via https://www.leadinfo.com/en/opt-out. For more information, visit: https://www.leadinfo.com/en/legal/privacy/.

Cloudflare

Traffic to our website runs via the network of Cloudflare, Inc. Cloudflare protects the website against attacks and malicious bots and keeps the website fast and available. To do this, Cloudflare processes technical data, such as your IP address, your browser’s User-Agent and characteristics of the connection. For this purpose, Cloudflare may place a cookie that is strictly necessary for this security.

Cloudflare Turnstile

To protect our forms against spam and misuse by bots, we use Cloudflare Turnstile from Cloudflare, Inc. When you visit a page with a form, Turnstile processes technical data, such as your IP address, your browser’s User-Agent and characteristics of the connection, to determine whether the form is being completed by a human. For this purpose, Turnstile may place cookies that are strictly necessary for this security. Cloudflare does not use this data for tracking or advertising. For more information about Turnstile and privacy, visit: https://www.cloudflare.com/turnstile-privacy-policy/.
